About Premantura - General Information about Premantura in Istria - Croatia
Premantura is a settlement on the south of Istrian peninsula, near the town of Pula. On the southern side there's a cape Kamenjak, and on the eastern side is Medulin bay with many small unsettled islets. In Premantura you can see a big tower made of stone, which is 27 meters high, and it served for sailors as a landmark while they where passing by the cape Kamenjak. The tower is placed on the main square and it belongs to a parish church of St. Lovre from the 17th century. St. Lovre is also a patron saint of Premantura. At your disposal are many coffee bars and restaurants in which you can spent pleasant afternoon moments. Here you'll find beautiful beaches around the cape Kamenjak and many pebbly bays which are great choice for families with small kids. Also, for all those who like different things, here are few hidden naturist beaches.
